The types of course at Cemcat
Theoretical presentations
They include clinical cases discussion and visits at the centre, offering added value to give students an overall vision in their training.
Example: MS Preceptorship . Refresher course in the latest developments regarding the disease and treatments with an integrated focus.
Cemcat also offers courses intended for professionals in the fields of nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, etc.
Theoretical/practical
Theoretical/practical courses lasting one week
Example: In focus . Compact format course (with a maximum of four students) covering a theoretical part and a practical part, including outpatient rotation with neurologists.
Monographic
Monographic courses addressing specific topics.
Example: MRI in MS . Course focused on diagnosis of the disease and/or the use of magnetic resonance. These courses also include those dedicated to managing risk in the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
Multidisciplinary audiences
Courses addressing multidisciplinary audiences.
At Cemcat there are professionals from different disciplines with extensive experience in handling patients with multiple sclerosis able to offer students their knowledge: neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, nursing professionals, etc.
